Everyone wants a great company culture. Unfortunately, wanting one and having one are two different animals. At Better Car People, we value culture.
So why do we do what we do? We want to make people better (hence the name “Better” Car People) in their work and in life, while having the time of their life. Culture is the conduit through which everything flows; it extends to our products, customers, community, and employees.
I’ve heard that “the thing that makes you unique is the thing that makes you powerful.” At Better Car People, employees are offered work from home days, weekly massages, free food and drinks, innovative workspaces, and company outings. Don’t get me wrong, all of these help create an environment that our employees love, but it’s our culture that creates the life they love.
Our culture can be summed up in a simple, sometimes forgotten principle: put others before yourself. When we learn to apply this, our perspective shifts and we begin bettering ourselves and the people around us...it’s how great teams are built. The culmination of individuals understanding their role while playing their part to be a part of a bigger picture.
