Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Transient

This past weekend Better Car People, Home of Overnight BDC, took the staff and their families to watch America’s favorite pastime! Saturday, June 16th we attended the Charlotte Knights vs. Indianapolis Indians Triple-A baseball game. The game was played at the Knights Stadium, just outside of Charlotte, in Fort Mill, SC. According to reports 9,680 fans attended Saturday night's game. The house was packed!

What is a baseball game without a tailgate beforehand? Partner, Matthew Belk manned the grill while others played corn hole and tossed around a football. The menu for Saturday’s tailgate included  delicious food such as grilled chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and other assorted goodies.

The evening just kept getting better as we walked into the stadium and entered our hospitality suite to watch the game. Our party was visited by Charlotte Knights' Mascot, Homer the Dragon. Homer visited the children and took photos with everyone.

The game definitely had viewers on the edge of their seats as it went into extra innings. The Knights went to the bottom of the 11th, down 4-3. But they were able to come back with a 5-4 victory against the Indians. As a bonus, there was a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the game. Everyone had a blast!
